Ranger lifts 200lb baby elephant onto his shoulders and walks through the forest to rescue it

Many people want to help animals, but this forest ranger went above and beyond. When he saw a helpless elephant, he quickly took action to save it. The amazing moment was caught on camera.

Palanichamy Sarathkumar, a 28-year-old forest ranger from Tamil Nadu, India, has a big heart. One night, while leaving work, he noticed an elephant blocking the road and not moving. Without hesitation, he and his colleagues stepped in to guide the elephant back into the forest.

Later, Palanichamy realized the reason the elephant was on the road. A baby elephant had gotten stuck in a canal and was unable to move. Without thinking, he lifted the baby elephant on his shoulders and helped it out. As Palanichamy told BBC News, the baby elephant was heavier than him, but that didn’t stop him from saving it.

The baby elephant was scared and exhausted, but thanks to Palanichamy and his team, it was safely reunited with its mother. People across the country were touched by his bravery and kindness.
