Baby rhino without a mother forms a special bond with her rescuer’s cat, and they make an adorable pair

Jamie Traynor, from The Rhino Orphanage, rushed to help Jamila, a baby rhino who had lost her family, as soon as she received the call.

Jamila had been attacked by a poacher while trying to help her mother when she was still very young.

When rescuers find animals like Jamila, they often cover their eyes and ears to calm them down because they’re stressed from losing their family.

Taking care of such a small and sad animal requires a lot of attention. Jamie spends a lot of time building a bond with the rhino and earning her trust.

Since Jamila was around people from a young age, Jamie’s cat, Mewie, took on the role of protecting her.

Jamie says Mewie always followed her and Jamila wherever they went. Mewie loved Jamie so much that she never left her side. Jamila enjoyed Mewie’s company too, and they became fast friends.

It’s funny to see a rhino and a cat hanging out, but it’s clear that Jamila felt comfortable with her new animal friend.

At The Rhino Orphanage, Jamie spends time with animals like Nandi, who loves to have fun. Jamie shares that Nandi enjoys lying on someone’s lap and relaxing, her big head makes her even more endearing.

Both rhinos and cats can be similar in some ways, like when they come up to you, roll over, and expect a belly rub. They’re both incredibly cute and lovable Animals.
