Brave husky finds a box of sickly kittens and takes them in as her own

Banner the dog truly has a big heart. Not only does she care for her owner, Whitney Braley, who has disabilities, but she also loves helping other animals in need.

At just 3 years old, Banner has been taught since she was a pup to assist with Whitney’s daily needs. She can recognize when Whitney is about to experience PTSD or a headache, guide her when necessary, fetch medications, and do many other helpful tasks.

Whitney and Banner are passionate about rescuing animals, especially those going through tough times. Whitney says they’ve saved many animals, and Banner particularly adores kittens.

A couple of years ago, they found a kitten abandoned in a canal, and Banner lovingly took care of it. That cat is still part of their family and has had over ten litters of kittens.

One day, Banner found seven newborn kittens left in an old cardboard box deep in the woods. The poor kittens were abandoned, likely hoping they wouldn’t survive.

Banner immediately alerted Whitney, who rushed to help. When Whitney opened the box, Banner carefully picked up each kitten and moved them to a safer place.

It was clear the kittens had been intentionally left behind to die. It’s heartbreaking to think about, but thanks to Banner, the kittens got a second chance at life.

Since bringing the kittens home, Banner has been a constant and loving presence. Despite being spayed for a year and a half, her nurturing instincts remain strong.

Whitney is now working to find a loving home for the kittens, where they can be safe and cared for.

She’s overjoyed that Banner gave these kittens a chance to live and thrive.

This incredible dog deserves all the praise. You can follow Banner’s journey and see more heartwarming photos on social media.
