Ants cover deceased bee with flower petals in what appears to be a proper funeral

Animals have shown us many times how to behave in life. The kindness of these ants could not go unnoticed.

From what can be seen, it looks like these ants are holding a funeral for the bumblebee.

As can be seen in the video, the bumblebee is surrounded by flower petals.

The video shows ants carrying flower petals towards a dead bumblebee.

Nicole Webinger shared the video on Facebook and wrote that it looks like a bee funeral.

Like Nicole, everyone else who saw the video was shocked.

Apparently, this is not the first time that ants have done such a thing.

Sophia Klahr shared some photos on Twitter of ants bringing flower petals to bees.

According to IFL Science, ants don’t do this to throw a funeral for bees. This is probably for a footpath or even to warn others that something is on the way.

It is also possible that dead bees are the next meal of ants. Maybe that’s why they mark them with petals, so that others don’t see them.
